During our holiday in Poland this year, myself and my girlfriend visited Auschwitz-Birkenau. The sun was bright and hot, trees rustled in the breeze and birds sang at intervals. We stood in the tall grass that surrounds two sunken ruins and were conscious of the ashes literally underfoot. Nina made a video of it (WMV 1.9MB)
